Investment Forum of Tajikistan and Azerbaijan

State Unitary Enterprise "Savings Bank of Tajikistan "Amonatbank" and OJSC "Azer-Turk Bank" of the Republic of Azerbaijan have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, based on which "Amonatbank" and "Azer-Turk Bank" will strengthen cooperation in the future.

The document signed by the heads of banks within the framework of the Investment Forum of Tajikistan and Azerbaijan, held on April 4, on the eve of the state visit of President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan to Tajikistan.

After signing the document, there was a B2B meeting between the heads of Amonatbank and Azer-Turk Bank, during which the sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation and establishment of banking operations, such as opening of correspondent accounts, overnight accommodation, currency exchange and mutual exchange of practices.

As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to establish a working group to implement the above plans as soon as possible.
