Scientific and legal conference on "Constitution is a guarantor of the rights and freedoms of man and citizen"

On November 2 of the current year, the State Unitary Enterprise “Savings Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan “Amonatbonk held a scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Constitution Day of the Republic of Tajikistan.
This conference was attended by a number of scientists and academicians, distinguished lawyers of Tajikistan, representatives of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Ministry of Justice, The national center of legislation under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan, the National Bank of Tajikistan, the National University of Tajikistan, Amonatbank management and staff.
The conference was opened by Safarzoda R.S, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Bank, who congratulated all attendees on the 30th anniversary of the Constitution Day of the Republic of Tajikistan, and expressed that the Constitution is the main document that declares and defines the rights and duties of citizens.
It was noted that the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan was adopted on 6 November 1994, through a national referendum. It is the main law of the state and the fundamental document that defines the structure of the government, the rights of citizens, and the separation of powers.
In the continuation of the conference, distinguished attendees also delivered speeches about the history of adoption and high value of the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan. According to Article 1 of the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan, the country is a sovereign, democratic, law-based, secular, and unitary state.
It was mentioned that the main factor that laid the groundwork for the adoption of the Constitution, is the Declaration of Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan dated September 9, 1991. Today, Tajikistan has established diplomatic relations with more than 100 countries of the world and is a member of more than 50 international organizations.
In the end, it was expressed that the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan is considered one of the best constitutions in the world, and that it conforms to the standards of international documents. Due to this document, the Republic of Tajikistan has been accepted by more than 150 countries of the world.
