Participation of the SSB RT "Amonatbonk" at the Forum of Women Entrepreneurs on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the State Independence.

Annually on November 19 the world celebrates the International Day of Women Entrepreneurs. At the initiative of the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan a forum of women-entrepreneurs, "Modern means of development of women entrepreneurship" was organized on the occasion of this date and 30th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Along with other financial institutions the forum was also attended by representatives of SCB RT "Amonatbonk" who demonstrated their banking products and recommendations on granting loans to women-entrepreneurs.
Shahlo Rahimzoda, Head of the Planning and Salary Division of the Department of Development and Banking Statistics of the SSB RT "Amonatbonk" made a presentation noting that the contribution of entrepreneurs, including women entrepreneurs, to the development of the national economy and the promotion of decent life is the highest goal of the Government of the country.
It should be noted that with the direct support of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, a number of effective measures have been taken to enhance the (status) role of women, and all favorable conditions for the activities of women entrepreneurs have been created.
Amonatbonk, as a state bank with a wide branch network of 75 branches and 547 CBSs in the country, focuses on providing loans to priority sectors of the national economy.
It was noted that for the 9 months of this year Amonatbonk has provided 309.2 million somoni of credits to entrepreneurs. In 2020, the country's entrepreneurs were given 490.5 million somoni of loans provided by Amonatbank.
Particularly, Amonatbank supported 137 women entrepreneurs in 2020 and during 9 months of the current year by providing loans to the amount of 11.1 million Somoni.
According to the analysis the volume of loans provided by Amonatbonk to support women-entrepreneurs in the country has increased by 22% compared to the same period of last year.
State Savings Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan "Amonatbonk" intends to continue this process as the main purpose of its activity and provide soft loans to entrepreneurs of the country, especially to women-entrepreneurs.
