On 25 November 2021, the Council of Heads of Government of the Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO CHG) under the chairmanship Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin was held a meeting via videoconference.
The prime ministers discussed a broad range of SCO cooperation issues with a focus on intensifying trade, economic, investment and humanitarian collaboration. The discussion also concerned plans to overcome the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic.The participants in the meeting stated that there was a considerable increase in the volume of mutual trade and progress in tapping the transit and transport potential between the SCO member states, including in agriculture. They discussed matters related to reducing the risks of emerging commodity shortages, as well as creating an industrial investment fund to finance agroindustrial chains.
At the invitation of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin, as the Chairman of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Interbank Association for 2020-2021, Ikromi Sirodjiddin Salom, Chairman of the Board of SSB RT "Amonatbonk" took part and spoke.
It should be noted that in 2021, along with the chairmanship of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, SSB RT "Amonatbonk" also chaired the Interbank Association of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
